I would love an updated version but if it's the same dude that did the Antalya scenery forget it. That thing is like FSDT JFK on frames and it's a vary small airport...

It's the guy who made Nizza for FSX and Orly

Exactly, and that's why I wouldn't buy it. Nice or Nizza was an FPS killer on my rig for such a small airport and after reading all the complaints about Orly there is no way I would every consider buying it. I don't know what it is that Peter does in his sceneries, but it seems that optimizing them for FPS isn't one of his objectives. Now anytime I see his name in the credits of any new Aerosoft airports, I usually wont even consider buying it.

Of note I was able to eventually get Nice working fairly well on my rig, but it took a lot of time converting some of the textures to DXT1 and adding mips, etc. Too much work in my opinion and it ended up almost being a do it yourself project.

I would bet money that when he finihses Zurich you will be luck to get 20 FPS in the FSX version, in a plane like the LDS 767 or PMDG 747, where as the FSDT version delivers FPS in the high 20's to low 30's for me using those 2 planes. In fact I would almost like to buy it just to see how bad it performs vs. the FSDT version.

Umberto, please, I implore you for the update of LSZH. The Aerosoft quality is nowhere near yours but they have the new Dock update. I would pay for an FSDT update of LSZH. Otherwise I fear I will have to buy theirs for FS9...

I wonder whats going on with their forum lately. Everytime I try to access topics from my computer it locks up, or if it does load all the responses after the initial post dont display correctly, but if I access it from my phone it works fine. I tried the usual, clearing temp internet files and cache, but still wont work right.

Just beware their version will probably get bad FPS like Peters other sceneries.

Umberto, please, I implore you for the update of LSZH.

Zurich is still one of our best selling products, an update it's very likely.

Quite frankly, I am astonished that Aerosoft is doing a Zurich... First of all fsdt's looks better and (as well all have found out the hard way) probably runs way better. I don't see how they expect to put up a fight against the dreamteam.  ;)

Sure, they have tons of really nice (but hard on frames) European stuff, but personally I just think it's dumb of them to try to compete over LSZH when fsdt's looks nicer.

Regards

They are doing it because an outside client wants it. So it's an internal development that will also be sold to customers. If  GAP or even Simwings did it I'd consider but it's just best for us all to hold out for the FSDT update :) I must say, I am not at all impressed with the Aerosoft LSZH. You'd think it make a better compare to the 4 year old LSZH but nope...
