GSX forcing LOGO **SOLVED**
« on: November 01, 2021, 12:06:49 pm »
Hi

I have a problem for Portugal Airports.
I edit jetways logo Millenium_bank
But when I rebuild Airport cache it forces back to Lisboa Airports logo or in Faro it goes back to PORTUGAL logo.
But in the ini file it s still MILLENIUM_BANK

It doesn't create another ini
I tried to rchange ini to off to force GSX to create a new ini.

But then I have this

# gate 314 = REMOVED jetwaylogo: MILLENNIUM_BANK
# gate 316 = REMOVED jetwaylogo: MILLENNIUM_BANK
# gate 318 = REMOVED jetwaylogo: MILLENNIUM_BANK
# gate 320 = REMOVED jetwaylogo: MILLENNIUM_BANK
# gate 324 = REMOVED jetwaylogo: MILLENNIUM_BANK
# gate 322 = REMOVED jetwaylogo: MILLENNIUM_BANK

It turns out that on the rules_jetwaylogo.cfg there is no Millenium bank so when i rebuild the airport cache it gets overwriten. So if I change it manually doesn't that get changed every time I run the updater ?

If GSX finds a profile which contained a custom texture ( possible only with P3D V4 ), it will remove it from the profile to prevent errors caused by that livery variation not being found, with a comment saying what it did.

The problem was caused by MILLENNIUM_BANK being present as a texture, but not in the rules_jetway_logo.cfg file, so it's treated as a custom texture, even if it's not.

Run the FSDT Live Update now, to get the fixed rules_jetway_logo.cfg file.

Apologies. I have been a bit rude earlier.

Thank you for the fix
