Remove custom jetway logo lines in ini file for p3d5?
« on: July 19, 2021, 08:03:55 am »
Since p3d5 does not support custom jetway logos should I remove these lines from the gsx ini config for an airport?

Example jetway_logo = FSDT_SODE_JW_TBC_1_4_LOGO_FSDT

It seems that custom GSX profile has been made with a very old version of GSX, one before P3D4 PBR and Render to Texture came out.

After that upgrade, which came sometime in 2019, for the precise exact reason of not having .INI file dependent from the RTT feature, the jetway_logo in the .INI file would only contain the name of the logo ( FSDT in this case ), and the jetway_name would contain the bare jetway name WITHOUT a logo so, it would be FSDT_SODE_JW_TBC_1_4 in that case.

So yes, if your .INI file was made before that update, it will have to be changed using this format.

As I've said in my previous message, the jetway_logo in the .INI file would only contain the name of the logo ( FSDT in this case ) so, it's supposed to be like this:

jetway_logo = FSDT
