Zurich V2 P3D v5 / Legacy FSDT Airports for P3D
« on: July 16, 2021, 02:34:26 pm »
I know that FSDT has been rightfully moving to MSFS lately, considering that the market is far more larger with more profits that can be easily made.

However for us folks over on P3D, I am still wondering if you are willing to refresh any legacy airports made by FSDT and redo them for P3D v5.

This has probably been talked about already somewhere on the fourm.
Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3080 STRIX OC WHITE, 32GBs DDR4 3800 CL14, C DRIVE - SABRENT 4.0 1TB, F - DRIVE - SABRENT 3.0 2TB, E DRIVE (P3D DRIVE) - 4x  MX500 1TB, EK 360mm AIO, 860W PLATINUM PSU, Phanteks P400A (6 White Corsair LL120 Fans)

P3D v5.2, P3D v4, P3D v3

We confirmed multiple times along the past months we are not planning any new airports or major updates for existing ones for FSX or P3D.

It's possible we might consider releasing an update for KCLT in P3D, because the work we are doing to convert it for MSFS included adding a new Terminal and a new Control tower that opened after the scenery was released in 2017, but we are not 100% sure about this, because sales for P3D has been constantly declining, especially in 2021.

The same might be valid for KIAH, since it will be also released for MSFS after KCLT, and it will also include the new Terminal C which is missing in the current version. This is also *possibly* a candidate for a P3D update.

Other than these two, we don't have any plans to update older sceneries for P3D.

The only product that will continue to be updated for all simulators is GSX, because the GSX logic itself ( which is the most important part of the program ) is almost entirely unrelated to the simulator version.
