KORD v2 winter ground texture problem
« on: January 07, 2021, 06:41:53 pm »
Hi,

I just bought KORD v2 a few days ago, and did a fresh install of win10 with p3dv4.5 hf3 on my system. After installing KORD I have a problem when i change the season to winter, the background textures have a blue tint (see picture below). if I switch to any other season the textures are fine. I have the latest version updated with FSDT live update. Is it supposed to look like this? If not, can you help me find what causes this color problem?

Thanks,
Tamas

I can see a slight blue tint too, although not so much as in your screenshot. Could you please tell me the exact time of day and day of the year ?

Sorry i had no time to experiment until now, so I did a full reinstall of KORD v2, again update everything through fsdt live update, but the blue tint stays. I tried different days, hours, all the same (did the test on Jan 11 around 13:00 local). It only changes to normal grass when I select a different season. I attach my p3d settings as I think it might be a bad sim configuration. I just cannot figure it out :)

I think the problem is that something in the rendering has changed from P3D 4.5 to P3D 5.0, since I can see *zero* blue tint with P3D V5, and with the last update we made some changes to the background image to better fit P3D V5.

We'll see if we can do a separate version of the ground textures that looks better in P3D 4.
