Low FPS

Hi, after installing LSZH 1.2 my fps in cockpit view have decreased from 12 to 4. I can't remeber that I have done any changes before or after the installation. I FS2004 it works just fine. Any suggestions on action to regain the fps? If I'm outside the a/c I get ca 17 fps. I gave a AMD 600+ duo, Gainward 8600 512 Mb graphic card and 2 Gb RAM.

You might try lowering one notch the Global texture size slider.

I did'nt tell you that I reduced ever slider to as low as possible without any chage to the better in fram rate. The low fps occures at all airports, like ESSA, etc. The problem is indenpendent of addon a/c or default a/c. I have win XP with SP2 as OS by the way.

Do you mean that, after installing Zurich 1.2 you got an fps drop at all airports, that wasn't happening with 1.1 ??

That's highly unlikely, since if you exit the Zurich area, the scenery will have absolutely no impact on anything else.

I never had 1.1, but I'm still confused The only thing I'v changed in the system is installing LSZH 1.2 therfore my conclusion was that it might be the reason.  I have now un istalled the scenery and re started the pc ... and I still have the problem. I dont understand what have hapend. But I agree that it seams to be a litle fare fetched that LSZH would be the reasone for the fps drop.

The problem is solved. It seams yhat the instalation oder of addon paly an important role ... at least on my machine. I did as follows

- reinstalled FSX & SP1
- Installed LDS 767 & SP1
- Installed LDS 767 Livrés
- Installed FSDT LSZH
- Wilocs Airbus vol 1 & 2
- UK Extreem EGSS

Now I get reasenable fps with LDS at KSEA between 11 and 15.
