Updating BIOS
« on: October 18, 2015, 12:07:38 am »
Hello,

My MOBO Bios was 2 versions behind. I did the first update this morning and when starting FSX, I got the esellerate error that the machine had changed. I was able to activate my DFW scenery, but when reading on how to solve my error, I saw there is a way to not consume my activations... Unfortunately I was unable to find instructions on how to do this...

How do I update my BIOS again without having the pain of esellerate?

Thanks in advance

Sergio

The sticky thread in this very section, named "FsDreamTeam introduces user controlled Deactivation"

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,4082.0.html

Without having to read the whole explanation, it basically says:

- Before doing an hardware change, Windows reinstall or BIOS update, Deactivate the product with the "Deactivate" button of the Addon Manager before doing it, so you won't consume an additional activation when reactivating.
