Upgrade to Win 10 results in -25007 error
« on: September 08, 2015, 07:08:40 pm »
Hi,

Forgive me if I have missed a thread with this solution already contained in it.

I did the Win 10 upgrade from Windows 7. Everything worked perfectly on Win 7 with FSX and FSDT. When the upgrade finished I stared FSX and it gives me the 'eSellerate ERROR -25007 Machine Mismatch. An hardware change has been detected and your activation will be verified now.'

I think it may have screwed up my REG or something? Not sure.

Would be happy to do a TeamViewer session as well/

Any help appreciated. If you need more info let me know.

It should then ask you to reactivate your sceneries. It only takes a minute or two and you're back up and running.

I got a few to active through FSX- Addon Manager. Others will now. When I put the key from the website it, and it trys to confirm the serial, it says it can't connect to the ESellerate server.

Be sure you turn off every firewall/antivirus/anti-spyware or similar security programs, because this is the most usual cause of the error. Esellerate runs on multiple redundant servers, so it's extremely unlikely they would be all down at the same time.

That did the trick. Weird though. I only have Malware Bytes installed. Seems Windows Firewall doesn't like that type of stuff.

Thanks!
