Title: YPPH
Post by: ashun on April 14, 2016, 02:07:28 am
l downloaded Perth international airport from AVSIM and followed all the instructions as per author's suggestion. I am attaching read me file to let you know which files are put in which folder. The airport is accurate with new gates and terminals, however, when i open GSX, it doe not recognize new AFCAD file and still uses default AFCAD file. Due to this, if i park my plane at old terminal, it recognises and offers ground service, however , if i park at new terminal gates, it does not recognise and there is no ground service.
Is it possible for GSX to identify new AFCAD file?

Thanks
Ash

Could be this AFCAD is not complete, but it only "enhances" the default one ?

If yes, you cannot use it with GSX, which requires the whole AFCAD to be self-contained, and include all informations about the airport. Basically, GSX only use a single AFCAD at a time: it won't "merge" data from different BGLs.

I think that is the case.
It enhances default one with new gates and taxiways.

Thanks for info

Best wishes
