Title: Conflict with Ray Smith AFD for KLAX
Post by: flying-w on December 31, 2012, 08:39:54 pm
I don't have FSDT KLAX installed, however I do have KORD and GSX.  I'm using Ray Smith's updated AFD for KLAX, which requires a file "KLAX_OBJ.BGL" to be placed in Scenery/Global/Scenery.  As soon as I do that, and I have tied it down to this one file, something starts to think that I have an FSDT KLAX installed.  It pops up the message:

"Trail period for FS Dream Team Los Angeles has started"

Of course there are no additional scenery items added that I would expect to find in the full product, however the simulator suffers regular 10 second pauses and the whole thing is completely unusable.

If I visit with AddOnManager and select "Los Angeles V2", it says "Product Installed, in Trial ModeOUTDATED".  This is not true.

Can you help me resolve the conflict please?  The updated AFD is found at:

Thanks
Simon
