Title: Exit 2 on Maddog
Post by: hontzt on April 22, 2012, 05:38:40 pm
GSX keeps asking me to open exit 2, when I do, it does not recognize that it is open.  Any help would be appreciated.

The Maddog is not supported, you need to create a GSX.CFG file for it using the editor, and instruct to ignore the doors status, using the code = 0, as explained on the manual.

Just like that :

[aircraft]
nosegear = 20.15
refueling = 1
absoluteheights = 1

[exit1]
pos = -1.7 18.1 2.45 5.0
code = 0

[exit2]
remove = 1

[exit3]
remove = 1

[exit4]
pos = -1.7 -6.9 2.7 -5.0
code = 0

[service1]
flip = 1
code = 0

[service2]
remove = 1

[cargo1]
pos = 0.8 14.45 1.3 0.0
code = 0
uldcode = AUTO

[cargo2]
pos = 0.35 -7.65 1.4 0.0
code = 0
uldcode = AUTO

It works like a charm...

Since you posted a complete GSX.CFG for the Maddog, I've moved the thread to the sharing area, so it might be useful to others.

Any parameters that could be added for specific doors to have to be checked for in the "Door with custom open/close checks" option ?

This file is now obsolete, since the LH MD80 is natively supported by GSX since a while now.
