I cannot get the latest version of GSX to start properly no matter what I try, always in the loading screen and if it loads it fails after a while.
-
I too am having this same issue. A full reinstall of GSX, deleting everything remotely related to GSX be installing again and still broken.
-
Welcome to the club!!!!!!

Of course there are no issues with GSX starting but, as usual, a proper report with important details like:
- which simulator you are using
- if you had errors installing/updating
- if you followed all suggestions at Page 98 of the manual, which covers all common reasons for the menu stuck on loading.
-
Answered all those questions and the damn program still does not work.

Using MSFS 2020.
I looked at the Manual yes, it's why I posted and i'm sure it's why several other users posted. I'm far from the only one with these issues, the previous version worked fine.
Hopefully an update comes within days and not weeks or months. A product I paid for is useless...

Exactly - and there will be no update to fix it !!!!!!!!

The program surely works, and you haven't added any further data, like a diagnostic log, for which we have a Sticky thread on this forum how to create one when GSX doesn't start.
-
I sent you NUMEROUS log files - and it still doesnt work.
Other users are having the same problem - you should be looking into this and giving it your full attention and trying to assist the customers instead of repeating your same old garbage over and over again.

If you are posting in this thread, you should post those logs here. Or, at the very least, point to a thread where you posted those logs.

And why, exactly, you think we have a whole CHAPTER in the manual dedicated to this ? NOBODY is "denying" it CAN happen, that doesn't mean it's:
- GSX problem
- Requires a GSX fix
The are plenty of possible reasons, like an installation problem (incomplete install), simconnect bugs caused by too much traffic/too high settings, max number of objects, and ALL are:
1) explained in the manual
2) don't require a GSX fix or update
3) can be troubleshooted using a log.

Happy to report, I reinstalled the update, regenerated my Simmconnect.xml, unsure if it was related but it works now.
