Title: Frozen After Pushback
Post by: Lude2Envy on December 15, 2025, 06:13:21 pm
Aircraft keeps getting stuck after pushback. The plane won't move at all to taxi. Happens with both the FSL A321 and the Fenix A321 in both MSFS 2020 and 2024. I've tried every solution I can find online and with AI......still doesn't work.

Cannot replicate it. Be sure you have the latest update installed.

There are issues with controls and parking brakes that is misleading users GSX is causing this during pushback, when in fact is just the mere fact you are requested to use the parking brakes and a problem with those is the real cause so, check all your brakes controls are set correctly.

I've had this happen now in both 2020 and 2024 with the Fenix and the FSL buses. First with the Thrustmaster quadrant and now with the Winwing quadrant. I bind the parking brake per the instructions with each aircraft. Is there some sort of debugger I can run so the next time it happens you can see what's going on?

I noticed an issue happening with the Fenix, that sometimes it ignores the parking brakes, unless you restart the Fenix app, try that.

I'll try that next time it happens with the Fenix. It's happened to me with the FSL A320 as well. I had a new problem yesterday with the PMDG 737. It looks like GSX and Sayintentions.ai both attempted to push the aircraft back at the same time. The nosewheel was stuck in air after the pushback and the plane wouldn't move. Closing Sayintentions fixed the problem there.

I can see that happening: if Sayintentions started a pushback (I think they just call the default pushback, but I'm not sure) after GSX already raised the airplane, it would very likely cause all sort of issues.

We already have a published and documented LVar that other developers can check to know exactly when GSX is pushing, so it should be easy for them to check if GSX is being used for pushback and don't try to activate their own.
