Title: GSX no longer loads
Post by: sags on December 03, 2025, 09:44:50 am
I am using the latest version together with MSFS 2024.  Using the default A330 at a default airport EDDS. From the GSX menu I select the pushback option. It then asks me to select a tug which I do and then nothing happens. I have attached a log file (hope I have done this correctly). I have restarted AND reinstalled GSX several times with no success. Can you please help.

How long do I have to wait before someone from FSDT tries to help me?

I don't know what it wrong with you: you posted a message yesterday morning, and already complained of not having received a reply the same evening. I'd say a reasonable standard would be to wait *at least* 24 business hours (taking into account timezone difference) before complaining of a lack of a response.

In any case, your log shows you haven't installed GSX correctly, because it's failing to create an object that is surely always installed. This can also happen if you manually copied the GSX packages in the Community folder, maybe when making a backup, so they are not Symbolic links anymore.

- If any of the GSX packages in the Community folder is not a Symbolic link (that's how it's installed by default), so it's missing the small arrow icon (so it's a real folder), REMOVE IT.

- Enter the FSDT Installer, select RELINK

- Run an update CHECK again to be sure everything is updated.
