I started a flight at KSDF Louisville KY. Why are the runways markings and the terminal buildings missing? I've ran the live update, reinstalled it, and still have the same problem. Every other FSDT airport works just fine except for KSDF. There are no other Louisville airport scenery installed. Yes, the couatl settings, live update, GSX, and the addon manager shows under the Addons in the menu, and the scenery is active. I've already tried installing it with my anti-virus turned off and the problem is not the anti-virus. I don't understand why this is happening and reinstalling and running the live update should have fixed this problem but it hasn't. So what is the problem?

This has been documented for some time now. It is too bad FSDT has chosen to put P3D support at the bottom of its to do list. A purchased/paid for product that is completely unusable is unacceptable. FSDT used to be much better than this... :(

Are you saying that FSDT is not going to give me support that I deserve? I haven't heard that FSDT is not supporting this product. If this is true, I'm going to be VERY angry. Do they have a ticket that I can submit? Paying for this product and not be able to use it is unacceptable! I knew this had been documented for some time but not one of them has solved my issue. I've done everything they claim would fix this issue and has not resolved it.

I can't believe that no one from FSDT has replied to my post and resolve my problem! Is anyone from FSDT going to help me resolve this? It's been 2 to 3 days and I'm tired of waiting!! It seems to me that I'm just being ignored!! It is the responsibility of FSDT to provide support for ALL of their products!! I'm sorry to be so angry but this is unacceptable!! I paid for this product and I cannot even use it, and I don't like to pay for something that I cannot use!!!

Yes, both the Addon Manager and the GSX menus are visible under the Addons menu in P3D, including the Couatl Settings and the Couatl Live Update.

I ran the Live Update so everything should be updated. I even uninstalled and reinstalled KSDF and still the same problem. You don't have a clue at all? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall GSX? What other things that can cause this? Would GSX have anything to do with this? Did you test it on P3Dv4? Actually, I have version 4.5 but I guess that makes no difference. I guess I should mention that I have the same problem in FSX. Every other FSDT airport seems to work fine except KSDF. I don't understand why this is still happening if everything is updated.

Now I'm getting pissed off again about the type of support I'm getting! I paid for this product to be able to use it, not just let it slide because no one seems to know what's causing the issue! It's the teams job to fix this issue and this should be TOP priority! Every time a problem like this comes up, it's has always been after running the live update! Something is causing this issue and it's the team's job to fix this! This should be your number one priority and nothing else! You reply with the words that everything should work if the GSX and the Addon Manager are visible and you just leave me with no further support nor explanation! And in the mean time, I'm not able to use the product! Nothing has been done to solve this issue that has been going on for some time! It seems to me that no one from FSDT is going to help those of us who are complaining about the scenery issue with Louisville because it's for FSX and P3D! It also appears that y'all only want to support those who are running MSFS! This forum is supposed to be the place to come and get support and I'm not getting it. There is no explanation as to what is broken or causing this issue! You say that Louisville works fine on your computer but that doesn't cut it. The fact remains that it's NOT working me nor the others that are having the same issue! Everything was working fine and then after running a live update, then the problems come up! These complaints started coming in and everyone is saying that it occurred after running the live update! There are many many people on here complaining about the same issue! I don't like to pay for something and not be able to use it. Nothing has changed on my computer and all of sudden when I want to do a flight from Louisville, there is no scenery and no terminals. I've heard it said that running the live updates only updates files for MSFS and not for FSX/P3D. If that is true, then why run the live update and is it possible that it corrupted some files for FSX/P3D preventing it from showing in the sim. I come here for support to get my problem fixed and it's still not fixed! All I get is it should work if GSX and the Addon Manager are visible in the sim and you just leave it at that! This is absolutely unacceptable! >:(

Is anyone from FSDT monitoring this forum and going to help me with my issue or just ignore them? I demand do know if my problem is going to be fixed! I'm tired of waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting, and no one from FSDT seems to care! I paid for this product and expect to get support! I am really pissed off about this and the team just lets this slide by and ignores them! My blood is boiling now because I have waited too long and the team just ignores my complaint and doesn't provide any support!!!! I post here every day and y'all just ignore them! I've never had this type of support problem from any other forum like this and your business and support practices have really gone to the dogs! >:(

I was testing on my P3Dv4.5 (I hadn't updated GSX for months because I'd read that it caused problems with this simulator version), and the scenery worked perfectly.
I decided to update to the latest version released last week (v3.7.2), and to my surprise, it's causing the error you mentioned kmanning, and it only happens at this particular airport.
I checked the log and found that the KSDF scenery isn't loading (I've attached information and a log file as proof).
This situation is very strange, since it only happened after updating GSX and GSX L2 to the latest version, so some file was modified and has affected the functionality of this specific scenery.
We need your help, Umberto, to locate the error and fix it soon so the scenery works again.

Thanks so much for posting this. This proves that this issue was caused by running the live update. The fact is that this problem did not occur until a live update corrupted and broken the scenery, preventing it from loading. I've read too many posts pointing to this fact. It makes me very angry that Umberto just simply replies with the words: "Then it should work if the GSX and the Addon Manager are visible" and just leaves me with the the same problem. I'm still having the same issue. He also claimed that it was working fine on his computer. That doesn't cut it. The fact remains that I'm as well as others, are still having the issue, period. He didn't even bother to check back and just ignores all of my posts. Here is my take: The team doesn't want to take the time to fix this problem simply because they don't want to support FSX and P3D sims and their main focus is MSFS2020 and 2024. But yet, they continue to sell the product for FSX/P3D. I know this to be true because of the things I've seen taking place here in this forum. The fact is that the the live update has broken this scenery and preventing it from loading completely. If that is not true, why are we still having the issue even after reinstalling it? But the team here are just ignoring our complaints, and the fact that they are ignoring the complaints is what has got me so angry and pissed off. What you have posted is proof that the live update has broken the scenery. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and still the same problem. I don't know if any of the team will see your log report, and I would post it in a thread where it will be seen because I feel that the team is not monitoring the FSX/P3D forum. I have health issues and I don't need this lack of responsibility and support. I set up all hours of the night, losing sleep, trying to fix this problem that they have caused, and the team can care less! It's their responsibility to fix this problem and give us the support we are entitled to. I shouldn't have to go through something like this after purchasing their product, and this is the thanks we get. Once again, thank you so much for posting this. I really like this airport and I just want the problem fixed. This issue is not our fault. It was the live update that broken the system, and they blame the problem on us. The last time I've used the KSDF scenery a few months back, everything was working great, until last week when I tried to load it. This is absolutely unacceptable!

When I said KSDF WORK, it's because IT DOES, here's a screenshot I just taken now. Tried both P3D5 and P3D4.
So, again, the usual things to check:
- Check the Live Update, and be sure it works with no errors
- If that doesn't work, try the OFFLINE Installer

Let me explain what tried so far with no success. Let me mention that I'm running Windows 10 Pro. I uninstalled the KSDF from the Windows 10 Apps. Then I went to the website and downloaded the KSDF for FSX/P3D and ran the installation. After the the product is installed, it automatically runs the live update. After this is completed, I load the airport and I continue to have the same problem. Now why is it that I continue to have the same problem, after following your instructions? Am I doing something wrong here? I don't know of any other reason why it would continue to give the same problem. And why did gevan had this problem only after running the live update? According to his post, he said it was all working fine until he ran the live up, and that's when the problem occurred. These are the things we're not clear on. You tell us to check the live update and make sure it runs with no errors. What errors are you referring to? I ran the live update and I'm not getting any error messages. What about the Addon Manager. Do I need to uninstall and re-download another one? What's the difference between the Addon Manager and the Universal Installer? I have both of them. I've read that the Addon Manager is no longer required but if I uninstall the Addon Manager, will that effect all my addons? You also said if that doesn't work, try the offline installer. Where is the offline line installer? I didn't even know there was one. What reasons that would prevent the online installer of the download to not work? I've tried all the suggestions you posted and they're still not working. How do you explain that? And how do you explain how gevan lost his scenery ONLY after running the live update? I don't recall this ever being explained.

I downloaded the scenery installer file (v.1.1.1.0) for P3Dv4 and uninstalled the previous version, but the error we've mentioned in several comments persists.
We've already tried disabling the antivirus, excluding the FSDT folders, etc. (other plugins we have from you, like GSX, wouldn't work).
I uninstalled the scenery again and used a v1.1.0.0 installation version I had from 2020, but it keeps trying to update to the latest version, which results in the same problem: the buildings and everything else in the scenery doesn't appear because it fails to update.
I'm sharing the LOG file again so you can see that the error is happening with the scenery files, not on our computers.
Regards, and we'll wait for a fix for this problem.
P.S. I have Windows 10 Pro 22H2 build 19045.6575 and P3Dv4.5 (v4.5.14.34698)

I ran a test on another PC where I have the P3Dv5.4 simulator installed on Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100.7171) with the latest GSX version (v3.7.3) installed via the "FSDT Installer," and the 'KSDF scenary' works correctly on that system.
Therefore, I deduce that the problem is only occurring with the P3Dv4.5 simulator, or with the Windows 10 operating system, or both.
With this investigation I carried out today, I'm providing you with some new screenshots from P3Dv5.4 and Windows 11, as well as the LOG file, so you have more information about the possible source of the problem.

You keep insisting that the KSDF scenery works. I'm not saying that it doesn't work on your system, and YOU did not even specify the operating system you tested it on, Windows 10 or Windows 11. gevan has posted that it worked fine in Windows 11 but it DOES NOT work in Windows 10. The FACT is that gevan and I have proven once and for all that this problem exist, even after reinstalling and running the live update! When gevan and I, as well as many other say it DOESN'T WORK, IT DOESN'T WORK, period! We have posted screenshots, PROVING that it is NOT working, even AFTER following your instructions! We have followed your instructions to the T and we continue to have the same issue, and YOU continue to ignore them! You should also know very well that doing an offline install will NOT fix this problem without running the live update! I am fed up with you brushing us off and YOU don't except the FACT that this is a problem YOU all created! The screenshots prove it but YOU continue to not give us any support and insist that the problem is with us! We demand that this problem be fixed! We come here to get support and YOU are not giving us any support, which is YOUR responsibility, but instead you brush us off! I am very pissed off about the lack of support we're getting, and YOU just ignore the problem as though they don't exist! We paid you money for this product and we cannot use it! This is absolutely unacceptable!

Please see the picture attachment. Every other FSdreamteam airport works, GSX works, couautl works but not this airport. I am on P3Dv5.4 and Windows 11 25H2. Please provide a fix as it is obvious that it doesn't work for people.

There are multiple threads now about this and multiple people ALL saying the same thing. Im glad it works on your end. But sadly, non of us can come around to yours and play on your PC. On OUR end, its sadly not working. Windows 10, Windows 11. Both have been affected it seems and with the fixes you say, people have tried this (including myself) and still it is not working. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS. It seems to have stemmed from the most recent update. Which I had before I installed the airport.
People have paid money and now are not getting what they paid for.
Please do not come back with: well it should work, make sure these items are running, it works on my end: as this is not good enough of a response. I think people just want you to acknowledge there may be a problem (and thats it not a user error) and needs investigation.
Maybe you are already doing that right now and simply have not updated these forums.
Maybe its time to hire someone who can get back to people on your behalf when youre busy behind the scenes to prevent them just thinking they have been dumped by not responding to their request.
I also would say to all the users of this airport. Lets chill and let Umberto find a fix, before keyboard warrioring him. Its very clear from ALL the comments on multiple threads, that something isnt happening when it should. Especially when someone came back with logs and evidence of it working prior to a live update, then not working after the update. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly as I have spent two days on this, doing multiple tries in installing and Im still gettting nothing.
Im gonna have to resort to copying the mdl files into the scenery folder until a fix is done.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. We don't want no more of this crap, such as, "it should work," "it works on my end," and "run the live update." Reinstalling and running the live update WILL NOT, and DOES NOT fix the problem.
Why do you think that maybe Umberto and his team are working on this problem? Umberto keeps suggesting that it works fine and there's nothing wrong with the addon. Umberto has not even admitted in this forum that there's a problem with this addon and they're working on it. Umberto needs to post in this forum and admit that there is a problem with this addon. Until Umberto admits there IS a problem with this addon for FSX/P3D, they're not lifting a finger to fix this problem. Umberto hasn't visited this forum since November 25 to look into this problem. This has been going on for several months and they have had more than enough time to fix this. They don't want to worry with it simply because the issue is for FSX/P3D. As long as Umberto does not admit there is a problem, they're not working on it.

Don't give me this business that it works on your machine, it should work, or to run the live update!!!! Everyone has tried it and followed your instructions to the T and it still does NOT WORK!!! THIS is PROOF that it DOES NOT work!!! I'm fed up with posting here and you don't even reply nor lift a finger to investigate as to why the problem exist and what you or your team are going to do about this ONGOING PROBLEM!!! Just because it works on your machine DOES NOT mean that the problem doesn't exist!!!! YOU have been proven that the problem exist but YOU just continue to ignore that fact!!!! YOU need to post here what you intend to do about this!!!! You can't seem to get it through your head that this problem is ongoing because of YOUR live update and YOU just ignore that fact!!!
