Hello all. Glad to finally be aboard with the rest of you! I've run into a number of things I am unclear about and I did take the time to read the (not very short) manual, which answered several other things. Here's what's left. Any help would be greatly appreciated (FS2024 on Windows 11 with the Aerosoft CRJ):
1. When exactly should I start the GSX process and with what entry? I'm never clear if I should request starting the boarding process, request starting the pushback process, or something else.
2. How is the Gate Warp Feature supposed to work? I select it and nothing ever happens.
3. How can I get the GSX data to feed to the CRJ? For example, it keeps selecting different numbers of passengers (which I want), but my CRJ always just has the same number (52) that I set a long time ago in the plane.
4. Is it normal to have to hit the GSX button twice in the menu bar to bring it up? Why? Seems like a bug. I notice the small icon in the lower right corner and when it's not there I have to hit the GSX twice.
5. Why is the flight attendant telling me that all passengers have left the plane at the same time they're still a very much in the middle of deboarding? I'll hear this and note like only 14/55 have left.
6. Is there any talk of a better what for this to interact with other tools like Beyond ATC? The two together is tough given each one often talking over the other. I know this is real, but when that happens generally there are two humans in the cockpit to handle these separately. I was thinking maybe GSX could have the option of just using subtitles while BATC is speaking so that it's not impossible to process both requests.
That's it! Thanks very much....

It's up to you to call what you want to call.

It will warp the airplane at the gate automatically, it works here and nobody ever reported a problem with it.

Read the manual to understand how GSX estimate the Passengers number if you don't use Simbrief. Or use Simbrief, so the passengers number will be taken from there.
4. Is it normal to have to hit the GSX button twice in the menu bar to bring it up? Why? Seems like a bug. I notice the small icon in the lower right corner and when it's not there I have to hit the GSX twice.
No, of course you don't have to, if you use the menu correctly as explained in the manual at Page 91+, which explains why, if you close the menu with the mouse, you'll have to open it again, together with other side effects also explained in the manual. If you use the hotkey, you'll never have to "click twice"
5. Why is the flight attendant telling me that all passengers have left the plane at the same time they're still a very much in the middle of deboarding? I'll hear this and note like only 14/55 have left.
Are you sure it's a message from GSX ?

Of course GSX will show a text for everything it says. But if you use the menu incorrectly (see above), one of the "side effects" would be you would lose all GSX text messages. Several add-ons have a way to control GSX audio, I don't know about BATC specifically, but others like iniBuilds or FsLabs are able to disable GSX audio programmatically.
