Hi, is there a tutorial anywhere to generate a new logo for a ficticious airline staircases and pushback trucks for my own amusement ??
I did this in P3D, but cannot remember how I did it.
I have looked through the manual, but did not see anything of use to me there.

I guess, the 'easiest' way would be to replace an existing handler logo (airport, airline or handling company) that you rarely or never use in "FSDT_Addon Manager/texture/handling/...", and then - if not already present - replace or add that under "handlingtexture =" in every airport profile (gate and/or stand) you want to use it. At least that's the way I have done it for HAM before the typical "Hamburg Aiport" Logo was included in GSX. Alternatively replace a common handler's logo, like Groundforce or Swissport, or whatever is common at the places you fly to/from.
But remember to put your replacement files back in after every update.

Hi pjoerg, many thanks for your reply.
I managed to locate, and found how to modify, the existing logos for existing airlines in MSFS2020 using GSX Pro.
Using a Graphics program that can handle DDs files, achieves the desired result.
I have changed the Ground Handling and Catering for 1 airline, and I use that.
What I have not been able to do yet, is create a new ficticious airline and add it to the list.
Very happy with results so far.

Hi Martin,
Yeah, that's the way I meant to describe as well - minus the graphics part (I took that for granted ;D )
I think, you can make up your own airline by putting in your own texture folder with a unique name, but you'ld have to also edit the "Addon Manager/texture/rules_handling.cfg" and "Addon Manager/texture/rules_catering.cfg" files, and add your airline there. And you would also have to repeat that after ever every update. Which can be somewhat cumbersome with Umberto's update frequency at times :))
If your way works for you, I'd leave it at that.
