I am working on a new AF2 for KFLL and was wondering if someone familiar with the airport can answer a few questions.
- Parking location of UPS.
- Where do military aircraft (like C-130s) park when they visit the airport.
- Midwest Airlines parking location.
- What aircraft park at the North-western most pad (two spots facing north between the threshold to 9L and 13).
- Does Spirit or AirTran, or any other airline, have a maintenance area / hangars where they park a couple of aircraft?
- When large aircraft like an A330 visit, where are they parked?
- There is a black tarmac area just to the west of the American / Jetblue terminal that google maps shows as remote gates, almost like the G1-3 gates. Google maps shows parking guidance lines but these are not drawn on the scenery. Are these still used or have they been removed?
Thanks to anyone that has the answers. :)

Hi Mariano,
You can find pretty much of info in airliners.net, just look on advanced search.
Example A330 operated by Air Transat are at terminal H.
Big aircraft they have a NOTAM where they have to taxy always on E and they usually park on the apron to the south of tower.
747 C-130 ecc
I don't think UPS oparete on this airport but maybe I am wrong.
Midwest Airlines is on D9 Terminal 2.
Maybe some one else can give you more info.
Happy landing on KFLL ;)

Thanks Fabrizio, I will try out the advanced search. The problem with A-net is that some of the 330 pics are 3 years old. I was hoping to get latest info from someone with local knowledge.
Anyone please??

UPSParks there plane at the airport. They do daily flights to Louisville KSDF and Miami.

Im not sure about C130s. Ive seen one takeoff out of there, but that was when a hurricane was near. We don't have the Air and Sea show anymore also.
As for Midwest goes, they don't operate hear anymore, unless its seasonal.

Thanks for that Info, I will note it in my AF2.
I just downloaded the latest 1.2 version so I have to see how it fits into my AF2, then I will hopefully have something that will be ready to post.
