I'd love to see a version of KBOS for FS X.
You guys do great work. Keep it up.
-
We have already decided which airport will be next (note, we are also aircraft developers, so do not automatically assume the next project will be a scenery for sure...)
It will be in the US
It's a big one.
No...it's an huge one...
And no, it's not JFK...
-
Why do people still ask for airports which are already done? FSX is still in the beginning so just wait for flytampa. They will produce KBOS for FSX maybe.
About the airport which one? ;D If it is a big one, let´s see:
- KDCA, KLAX, KMCO were done by cloud9
- KSAN, KMIA, KTPA, KSFO, KSEA, KMDW, KBOS were done by flytampa, and KBUF will be the next one
- KLGA, KDEN, KCVG, KMCI, KEWR, KDTW, KCLT were done by imagine sim, and KATL is the next one
- KLAS, KPHX were done by simflyers
- KPVD, KPDX were done by flightscenery
KFLL? KORD? KPIT? KSLC? KSMF? KMSP? Baltimore? Houston? Jacksonville? Anchorage? Maybe an airport already done? ;D

Wow! thanks for the hint lol let the speculation begin! would be cool if it was KDFW in Texas or KIAH hmm not sure could be also kmia flytampa does not seem like there going to update theres in fs9 or even on fsx but then again cloud 9 has KMCO on fsx for that one but you never know hmm I think it would be chicago KORD. so here's my guess, list lol it really saddens me so much that it wasn't jfk such important airport in the u.s and so much history with it but I totally understand that unfortunately the nyc area in fsx is not very frame rate friendly yet.
1:KORD ??
2:KDFW ??
3:KMIA ??
4:KLAS ??
I feel its KORD but will see.

I'd be willing to bet it's KDFW (of which a new one we need desperately in FS9)... ;)
Blueprint is already doing KORD so I hope that's not it. A case of one hand not talking to the other (as far as developers go).
-
Hi Dillon, :) yea I wouldn't mind at all kdfw very important airport not to mention its American airlines main hub lol which ever one it is I know it going to look amazing.

These are breaking news Harpsi, are you sure?

A FS dreamteam KORD would be much nicer than Blueprint's rendition.

Martin & George do not reveal their next project to the general public until very close to their release.
Did they do so? was their next scenery announced? Simply didnt see any announcement regarding it.
Very possible I missed it tho.
-
KBUF may or may not be Fly Tampa's next release. Odds are it will not be. That is just Harpsi guessing due to George stating a long time ago he was working on it. IIRC, he stopped working on FS scenery for a while. Its just Martin working on it now so do not count of BUF anytime soon.
As for FS Dreamteam's next scenery, I would hope for DFW and for FS9 as well. DFW was done years ago by Simflyers and it sorely needs to be redone. A new international terminal has been built since that time as well. KORD would be nice as well though if I was a developer, I would hesitate on this one due to the amount of reconfiguring construction going on with the runways and taxiways.

I would put my vote in for Phoenix. Although it is not huge, it is rather large. My since u say huge that narrows it down to a few. And since u say its not JFK, i say possibly ORD, LAX, DFW, or ATL who i think is being developed by another group (drawing a blank on their group name)

LAX was done by this group and it still is very good (although AES would be a big hit if they and Oliver could ever hold hands and sing the same tune) so thats not it. ATL is due in Feb/Mar 08 timeframe from Imaginesim so thats not it. Think eveyone has it narrowed down to either DFW (what I am hoping for) or ORD.

Short question - will it for FSX or FS9 or both?
Thanks
-
both.

Excellent

That's fantastic news Kappa, ;D Im glade you guys considered fs9 still at least for a little while longer, hey guys I also really believe that it would KORD or KDFW ether one will be just wonderful so Im really looking forward too it. :D

Excellent..another FS9 scenery. I know they will not tell us but I wonder if the FS9 version outsold the FSX version of Zurich?

Yes I also wonder about that myself I mean I do have fsx sp1 and sp2 with the Acceleration pack installed but I mainly use fs9 for now and just do a few missons here and there with fsx.

We don't know that, because the sale it's just one, and the activation works for both sims. We can simply say we are really happy of sales right now...:)
-
Well, I imagine making it for dual platforms helped sales and not hurt them as those of us that only use FS9 probably would never have bought it. Sure its a pain I imagine having to make a scenery for two platforms but if in the end sales are very good...I would guess its a good investment. Now for the next release ;)
