Smoky Mountain air Show Knoxville Tennessee this Saturday and Sunday.
Blue Fly at 3:00 pm both days. Can't wait. I last saw then fly in 1963 at Whidbey

The ONLY thing I liked about being stationed in Yuma, was that all winter long I could ride my motorcycle over to El Centro and watch the Angels practice. Normally about an hour's ride, but on a good day, I could get there in about 45 minutes. So maybe I exxceeded the speed limit, slightly ::) :o :P
I loved watching those guys, and the Phantom is an awesome bird! The 18 is good, don't get me wrong, but the Phantom, heck, they didn't need to turn the smoke on, just keep those old J79 engines out of burner, and they smoke enough! And there is something about the Phantom, they just resonate in your gut as they go by... ;D
