Title: Ground textures are flickering - Yes, I have run the Live Update.

I just ran the live update. I'm happy to provide any settings/more info needed to solve this issue.

Flickering in Top-down view is entirely normal, not a bug and it's just a side effect of how the scenery is made.

Is flickering in the external spot view also to be expected?

No, if you use a default camera view. If you use 3rd party camera addons, it's possible.
