I know I opened the drop down, but was not aware at the time I could change the keys.

What's unclear in that dialog box ?



And of course, the GSX manual basically starts with explaining you can change the keys used by GSX. From Page 5, the "How it works" chapter:

You normally call GSX after landing the airplane on any airport, by pressing its Hot key. By default, the Hot key assigned to GSX is CTRL+F12, but it can be reassigned using the “Couatl Powered products” menu inside FSX

This realy sucks,

It seems I have an identical situation. It has always worked, but I think it went wrong after a last upgrade.

You don't have an "identical" situation.

The problem discussed in this thread was FIXED by the user, because he had a key conflict with *ANOTHER* product, but he didn't realized that he could reassign keys in GSX.

Please don't post here, post only in the relevant thread about your problem.
