default KMIA and GSX
« on: May 15, 2013, 04:50:46 pm »
Hello,
Recently I've noticed (after the last update, particularly) that at the default KMIA, and at a couple others, that when I try to find a parking spot, there seems to be no gate suitable for my sixe of aircraft. Case in point: Just now I landed at the KMIA(default) with the PMDG B747 and all aircraft positions were to small for this aircraft. I'm parked in a "Heavy" gate and it still says services aren't offered because the gate is too small for the a/c. Its happened at a couple of other airports with default scenaries as well, I just can't remember them at the moment. Is there a patch or some other tweak I can use to correct this problem? I use FSX with sp2 on Win7 64bit

This is really a FAQ, which has been discussed many times on the forum, for example here:

and of course is explained in the GSX manual too. The answer can be found in the GSX manual, Page 24, the explanation of the "Max allowed wingspan" parameter of the parking customization page.
