F-18 MFD CTD ???
« on: June 13, 2008, 08:53:58 pm »
Staff,

Is there a solution to the F-18's MFD gauge CTD issues?  Or is this something that either you or Microsoft have already addressed somewhere?
"Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.” (Prov.13:20 NIV)
Thank you very much.

If you are referring to the MSVCR80.DLL crash when pressing the SEQ button, the solution has been discussed a while ago:

Do not load a flight that had a flight plan active when it was saved. Always save a flight without a flight plan and always create a flight plan after having loaded the flight. It's also OK to load the flight, then load a previously created flight plan.

Staff,

Yes, this is the same issue... I was under the impression you all were working on a solution and this was a temporary workaround.

Is this something we are going to have to live with indefinitely?  :(

Any eventual update for Acceleration has to be decided by Microsoft, since there is at least a workaround available, I don't think this issue might justify an update.
