Could try to download and install the Stand-Alone Addon Manager for FSX, and see if it does any difference ?

laking:
I downloaded and installed the Stand-Alone Addon Manager. But no differences.

It's possible to enable the Simconnect diagnostic mode, this way, to check if there are errors causing pauses:

Open Notepad, and copy the following text:

--- Code: ---[SimConnect]
level=normal
console=1
RedirectStdOutToConsole=1
OutputDebugString=1
; file=c:\simconnect%03u.log
; file_next_index=0
; file_max_index=9

--- End code ---

Save the file as SIMCONNECT.INI in this folder:

Documents And Settings\YOUR LOGIN NAME\Documents\Microsoft Flight Simulator X Files

At the next FSX launch, you should see a text window with diagnostic messages scrolling down, try to identify if there are things that looks like errors when there's a pause.

laking:
I didn't find any 'errors'. Everything seems ok.
I also deinstalled and made a new insallation of the software. No change.

Then it's not the problem of a scenery. Long stutters might be caused by missing object that FSX is trying to create unsuccessfully but, if the Simconnect diagnostic doesn't report this, it's not a problem of the scenery, but something else you have in the PHNL area, like AI for example. No, Simconnect is not able to diagnose these, unless you use UT2, which creates AI using Simconnect.
