Temp disable the scenery?

Is there any way to temporarily disable PHNL (or any other FSDT scenery for that matter?)  I removed the active checkmark from the scenery library entries, and then tried editing the misc simobjects sim.cfg file to remove the  fltsim sections and that seemed to work, except that FSX freezes up about every second.  What I am doing is creating a 1941 version of Oahu that I would want to be able to alternate on the same fsx install with the modern Oahu which include FSDT scenery (plus many others).

You can remove (or, better, move it to a different folder) the fsdreamteam\couatl\phnl folder.
