Strange glow from the cabin

Hi Umberto!

I'm glad you're okay, even though we're constantly tiring you out ))

Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.

My question:

At one point, when activating the passenger cabin feature (for PMDG737, FenixA3XX, PMDG777), I noticed something:

When the feature is enabled, a glow appears in the cabin, even if the aircraft is in full Cold and Dark mode. Furthermore, it spreads to the wings as well. At night, it looks...strange...and also greatly interferes with the cabin lighting.

I double-checked by removing the passenger check marks on the planes and then reinstalling them. I deliberately moved the plane to a dark location so the airport lighting wouldn't interfere.

I tried to illustrate the difference using PMDG737 as an example, but I also uploaded a couple of other aircraft where the same thing is visible. I'm not sure if the forum will upload my screenshots in the correct order, so I'll explain:

1) 6 screenshots of PMDG737. The ones with a light interior, illuminated wings, and a light cockpit are the aircraft in C&D condition. (One EXTERIOR screenshot shows navigation lights, but in C&D condition, the wings are also illuminated. I was too lazy to redo it.) All screenshots of the dark cockpit, interior, and exterior are without the passenger checkmark.
2) A couple of screenshots from Fenix. Just in C&D mode, with the passenger checkbox enabled.
3) A couple of screenshots from PMDG777, also in C&D mode, with the passenger checkbox enabled.

I can imagine that perhaps this is necessary for some reason (probably at night, to prevent passengers from being completely black).

But, if possible, and without a huge resource cost, would there be a way to reduce this effect or disable it? It really ruins the whole idea of controlled interior lighting. Or, somehow, tie it to the cabin lighting, but I'm sure that's not easy. Modern airplanes can vary the brightness, color, etc., in the cabin.

Hi!

I think this post has lost its connection with the New Year's holidays, so I'm giving it a little UP.

It's all normal: if you enabled Seated passengers, we must add some internal dynamic lights otherwise all passengers would be pitch black, which is a quirk/bug in MSFS that attached objects are not lit by the airplane own cabin lights.
