Hi everyone,

I've recently installed the FSDT Installer on my Windows PC, and while the installation went fine, I'm having an issue with the shortcut icon.

On my desktop, the shortcut shows a blank white icon, and when I check the shortcut in the installation folder (Addon Manager), it also appears broken. However, when I search for "FSDT Installer" in the Start menu, the icon appears correctly there.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Deleting and recreating the desktop shortcut from the Start menu (didn’t help).

Checking the shortcut properties: the "Target" path seems correct, but the icon still doesn’t load.

Looking directly in the Addon Manager folder – the EXE is there and runs fine manually.

Does anyone know how to fix or refresh the shortcut icon so it shows correctly on the desktop and in Windows Explorer?

Thanks in advance for any help!

(Sorry i dont find a categorie for this issue)

The icons are created with the FSDT Universal installer, the correct paths for both are, assuming a DEFAULT installation

FSDT Installer
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\Couatl_Updater.exe" /SILENT /INSTALLMODE=TRUE

FSDT
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\Couatl_Updater.exe"

The double quotes are important, since the "Addon Manager" part of the path contains a space, so it will require double quotes even if you installed in a folder other than "C:\Program Files (x86)" (another space)
