As I've said, the ULR worked, but some browser cache http to https redirects, unless you empty the cache. I've edited the URL in a way that should prevent this now.

When I click on the manual link in the FSDT Installer nothing happens. What is worse, I can no longer open any PDF files.
I have to sign out then back in before I can start opening PDF files.
What is the path that the FSDT installer looks for the GSX manual when I click on the "Manual" button.. ?
I tried downloading the manual to C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\GSX_manual_MSFS.pdf but it does not work. I need to navigate to the file itself if I want to open it.
While at it - what is the difference between FSDT Installer and FSDT Live Update ?

That's most likely because, the first time your reader didn't start for some reason (or maybe it was just starting but you clicked again too quickly), so you clicked the button again, and made the 2nd copy locking the 1st one that might still be in the process of starting, requiring a new login. But you would have achieved the same results if you just terminated the first instance of the reader.
Nothing that has anything to do with our installer, which doesn't do anything other than ask windows to start the file with whatever reader you have set by default to open .PDF and doesn't have any knowledge of it, or even if you have one.

Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager is an empty folder in Windows 11 (64b) with MSFS 2024. No P3D or MSFS 2020 installed.
The latest GSX Pro manual I have is dated 8 May 2024, and we've had many added features since then. The latest update included a VGDS editor and the notes say there is a new manual for that.
Please provide a link to the latest manual(s). I've searched all of your folders installed on my machine and only find the older GSX Pro manual. Thank you.
