I'm the user from the mentioned thread - here a bit more details. I had this same problem - try redownloading the installer from your purchase receipt email. Right-click on the installer file (FSDT_Universal_Installer.exe), select "Properties", then click the "Details" tab. The latest version should be 1.0.66. If not you have an older version of the installer, in which case there may be an issue with the link in the email. I uninstalled the old installer, ran the new .exe and GSX Pro then showed up in the list.

I used the link in email. The FSDT Universal Installer properties says 1.0.66.0. The setup shows during install: Fsdreamteam Unversal Installer update 1.0.63. I removed the installer. Restarted the PC, reinstalled the installer again. Still no GSX Pro. The GSX and GSX level 2 expansion for P3D are showing?.

That's just the readme file, the actual installer is correct. Since the installer will immediately download its latest version, it is possible you have another server refresh issue like others have. Try to install with the network disconnected, keep it disconnected and see if you now see GSX Pro.
