Assuming your internet connection works, it's likely a problem caused by the antivirus or the firewall.

I have tried a couple of different ways to download the scenery connected to the internet but nothing is working

I'm sorry, but I cannot see any problems with downloads, and nobody reported a problem these days either.

- Turn off the firewall

- Addon the Addon Manager folder to the antivirus Exclusions.

Who would have thought that NOT having SP1a installed would have been the whole problem
