Do you also have FSX installed, or you USED to have the regular (non-Steam) FSX installed at one time ?

I have a brand-spanking new entire computer with Steam downloaded.  Almost all of my pRevious FSX software has reinstalled with no problem to Steam. I even pulled 6 year old Megascenery cds out of a drawer, ran them, and they installed and work flawlessly.  I have to say these airports are a real pain to install for some reason.  My KORD installed and has no problems but this JFK has no buildings...I don’t get it.

If other FSDT sceneries are working, there's no reason whatsoever why JFK wouldn't.

Note that, JFK now REQUIRES GSX Level 2 (which of course is free to use at all our airports), because it now has SODE jetways from the GSX Level 2 library. I believe the updater should have warned you about this. Do you have the latest full GSX installed ?

I have the very same problem in FSX. No Steam.
Also, I try to reinstall Los Angeles v2 with the Addon Mgr but cannot get thru even I insert the Serial No.
I don't have the GSX. Do I have to get it?

Both JFK and KLAX now requires GSX Level 2 to be installed (not necessarily bought).
