Add-ons manager issue
« on: January 09, 2020, 07:19:18 pm »
Hello there.
Could someone help explain why I am not able to use the GSX, in the last couple of months ( I purchased the product early last year, and I installed it on a desktop computer and a gaming laptop ).
The only message that comes up, upon launching FSX is ;

1- No triggerable objects found within 6.5NM/12km

I attached a screenshot of this.

Thanks

Regards

Mr A

That looks like SODE rather than GSX. If you're not anywhere near a SODE jetway, that might be why. GSX is triggered by Ctrl + F12.

That's because you used the SODE ( by default TAB-S ) key to use a Jetway, which works ONLY with SODE jetways in 3rd party sceneries. GSX/SODE jetways MUST be operated from GSX, using the GSX hotkey ( CTRL+Shift+F12 by default ) and, since this method works both with GSX and non-GSX SODE jetways, you can just use that one every time.

Hello again, and thanks for the hints.
I managed to get it working ( I ran the update manager, and the add-ons manager displayed everything).
I did a test flight from EGLL to EGPH, and I think the issue is now resolved 🙂

Thanks again.
