F-18 Elevator Trim
« on: October 24, 2008, 08:06:31 am »
Would someone please describe for me where in the cockpit the elevator trim is? Or would you perhaps post a screenshot with an arrow pointing towards it or something?

I can easily locate the rudder trim, but for the life of me, I cannot locate the elevator trim!

Thanks

Mr. Joseph,

It is the Pyramid shape nob at the top and right-most position of the flight stick - It's what gamers call their "POV" for view panning; But in the real aircraft that is used for elevator (UP/DOWN) and aileron (LEFT/RIGHT) trim.  I don't remember if it is modeled by FSDT to the function of that, like Aerosoft's F-16; I use my HOTAS Cougar for Trim control for these models you might want to assign trim to your flight controls.

Hope this helps!  :)

Thank you very much.
