my textures are a little blurry what are the recommended settings for your scenery?

- Texture resolution at least 2048 in the Addon Manager

- Enable Anisotropic filter at 16x on your video card control panel.

Umberto,

This is slightly off topic but I will throw it out there anyway.

In your experience do you find that 16x reduces performance significantly?  I haven't had a chance to play around with this level much.  I own a GTX660 2GB that is running FSX quite nicely.

I had read somewhere that these AF levels won't hurt performance a hell of a lot but just wanted to get your opinion.

On a reasonably fast video card, you can probably use FSX with 16x anisotropic filtering without noticing any fps loss, because FSX is still not very GPU-limited, so you have quite a bit of spare GPU power to improve image quality.
