Product activation issue
« on: September 19, 2008, 05:32:24 pm »
Folks,

First of all, congratulations for the excellent job done.

I just purchased my copy of KJFK today and everything ran smoothly but I was unable to get the activation of Zurich aiport within the same process. The receipt I got shows a separate serial number for both of them and a single ST***** order. However, attempting to reinstall Xurich with this ST number does not work.

I am running FS9, but I believe this does not affect the bundle package offered in your site.

May I miss something?

Thanks,

Dan

You probably haven't fully understood how the bundle works. From you email, I gather you just bought JFK, and expected to get Zurich for free. It's not like that, as clearly advertized on the home page, on this forum thread here:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=953.0

And on the Esellerate confirmation screen before processing the order (so, before charging your CC), for the bundle to be working, you need to purchase BOTH JFK and O'Hare in the same order, then you will receive a free serial for Zurich.

It will not work just with JFK, and it will not work if you bought O'Hare already.

Also, as explained in the forum thread above, you don't have to "Reinstall". Reinstall, as clearly explained on all manuals and forum thread, is ONLY used with reinstalling on a new machine or when reformatting your system from scratch.

If the system accepted your bundle (which means you ordered KFJK + KORD at full price, either in the same order or within minutes one from each other), to activate the other 2 airports, you need to use the "Register Serial" option, to insert the other serials you got in your mail receipt.

Hi,

I am having trouble Activating KJFK.
Purchased this last night Order No STxxxxxxxx
On attempting to register and after putting in the code as supplied on the invoice, I get the message.

" please wait 15 mts for the server to update"

Please advise.

Purchased this last night Order No ST82739077.

You purchased from the Webstore. Are you trying to use the Reinstall option perhaps ?

You need to select the "Register Serial" instead, and insert you *serial* number, not your Order Number.

The only time you need to insert the Order Number, is when you need to Reinstall on a new machine, and you *lost* your serial somehow.

Hi again,

I am inputting the serial No beginning FSDTKJFK-****** etc.

I only quoted my order No to verify it was a bone fide enquiry.

Your order is fine. If it says to wait, it might just be the Esellerate servers are simply taking longer than the usual 15 minutes.

If still doesn't work in an hour, contact me via email, I'll send you a .REG file

Hi

Nice one, Umbarto, only I do not know your EMail address and you have it hidden on your profile :-)

So if you could send me an EMail then I would have a return address.

There's a "Contact" button on the Home page of the website...
