Runway 19R
« on: October 16, 2013, 07:37:41 am »
Tried a search, didn't find anything about this so here goes. Also I have run airport scanner and can confirm no other AFCADs for LAS.

I have a question about the start of runway 19R at LAS. In the scenery, the beginning section is a blast pad and taxiing on it (I know, blast pads are not for taxiing on) the plane behaves as if on grass. The taxiways that lead to the runway departure end go to this section, so you must taxi on it if you are departing that runway.

Vs on the runway itself

Not sure if it was changed at some point, but as you can see on the following map, this area is meant to be taxied on for departing 19R.

Is there a way to change it so this area is a hard surface?
