JFK error
« on: July 02, 2013, 06:28:54 pm »
In addition to some of the topics already discussed, I'm getting the following error message (pictured) when FSX loads.  I'm getting jetways, AI traffic, ground traffic, etc., but no terminal buildings at all.

Please advise.

Marc

PS -sorry if the picture shows twice,

That's not an real error, it means you had a problem with your scenery.cfg, and the KJFK V1 Uninstaller wasn't able to remove its area. It can be fixed by simply removing the area manually in the FSX Scenery Library menu.

About missing buildings, it's not very clear which scenery you are referring to and what scenery you currently have installed, if you have one:

JFK V2 or V1 ? Have you installed the 2.1 version ? If not, download and install the 2.1 installer, which is the only one we have online now.

If you still don't see the buildings, the usual questions are:

- Do you have BOTH the "Addon Manager" AND the "Couatl powered products" menus under the FSX "Addons" menu ?

- Have you been ASKED permission to run the Addon Manager and the Couatl engine modules, after you installed the scenery (assuming you have installed it, which is not very clear from this message) ? Have you replied YES to authorize BOTH modules ?
