Gentlemen,

 Thank you for th 18! My question: My aileron roll is 'jerkey'. Is this due to the fly-by-wire? All other FSX, including Alpha F105,F11, F5, etc have a normal smooth roll rate.

First of all, a' lot of respect that jou have flown the B-52 and T-33 for over 8000hours!!! I slaute you;)

But for your problem. Possible is that you are used to fly a heavier/lighter plane than the F/A-18A, with more or less fuel. You can always re-calibrate you joystick.

You can adjust the sensitivity in the settings/controls menu. I tend to assign a rotary for trim due to the acceleration hornets constant need for trim.
