Unable to update from version 1.1 to 1.3 - installer stops

Hi There,

Using the FS9 version (Cloud9) and saw that there was an update available.   Downloaded the update from the thread on this page and attempted to apply it.

The installer then stopped saying that I must remove the original install first!

I then removed the original install (ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS - selected REMOVE) then ran the installer again.

This time, the installer stopped again, stating that this was only an update and that I need to run the full install first!

Can you please advise on exactly how I update the scenery?

The update 1.3 is as i understand it looking for the Fsdreamteam version of KLAX not the old Cloud9 version.

I just downloaded and installed the full installer from this site and everything went fine.

My mistake!   Guess I need to purchase the FSDT version!

However, if my memory serves me correctly, there is no dynamic scenery in their version.   And I do not use AES.

But thanks anyway, sorry about the post.
