Official Instructions for ORBX users?

Can we have a definitive list of what needs to be romoved from ORBX for FSDT CYVR to work properly? If anything?

 I have seen a few posts but nothing official from FSDT and I was under the impression it would work with ORBX but seen no mention of it anywhere else.

Well, we haven't said anything, because you aren't supposed to do anything: it should work right away without any modification.

The only thing that might potentially cause a problem, it's the AFCAD files, but the AFCAD that comes with CYVR already takes into consideration the Orbx sceneries and should exclude everything that needs to be excluded.

This means, as long as you keep CYVR on top of Orbx in the Scenery Library, everything should work right away.

I moved these to a backup folder:
ADE_FTX_PNW_CYVR_Vancouver_Intl.BGL
ADE_FTX_PNW_CYVR_Vancouver_Intl_CVX.bgl
FTX_PNW_objects_CYVR_Delta_PLC.bgl
FTX_PNW_objects_CYVR_PLC.bgl

And of course make sure FSDT is on top of ORBX in the library.

Things look great.

I cannot find this 'Delta' File ? Are you sure you have named it correctly here?

I can confirm I had the file, too, in the same place, and disabled it. This is under Prepar3D, pretty much all service packs etc. up to date.

I placed Vancouver on top in the scenery config and it worked perfectly with the ORBX / Vancouver V3 scenery. After switching back to FSX default with the ORBX tool and back to North america, the Vancouver entry has been moved below the ORBX sceneries and wasn't visible within FSX.

Is there some way to permanently fix it on top of the ORBX sceneries? It will be a bit annoying to edit the scenery config manually everytime I used the ORBX switcher...any idea?

To keep YVR on top you need to read the manual for FTX central where it refers to library insertion points. That will fix you up.
