Lights

Hi,
I really like your LSGG, but the glaring ligths above the gates are a bit ugly, if I may say so.
Any chance for a change?
Cheers, Andreas

Those are not our lights, you have installed some replacement textures for lights.

Hi Umberto,
thanks for the fast answer.
No, I didn't install any other textures. No idea how they crept into it.
The only thing I can think of is that they are leftovers from another LSGG installation I had before.

Hi Umberto,
do you have any idea where I could find the offending textures so I can delete them?
(No such problems with your LSZH)
Cheers, Andreas

It's in effect texture folder "fx_2.bmp".
Talk to me by PM.

In this forum I found another topic describing something similar.
The fx_2.bmp had indeed been overwritten by another application (REX?).
I replaced it with the original file from another installation of FSX.
This is the result (not entirely satisfying either, I must say).

At AVSIM I found Michael Swannick's fsx_lights.zip which has a new fx_2.bmp.
Looks much better with this one.
