PHNL - Some jetways missing
« on: October 28, 2012, 08:02:30 pm »
I'm missing some, not all, of the jetways at PHNL.
I recently installed MegaScenery-Hawaii.
I've tried with the PHNL before MS-H in the Scenery Library, I've tried it with PHNL after MS-H. (with reboots in between)
I tried a full uninstall of PHNL, delete the PHNL folder, fresh download and reinstall & reboot. No change.
It's not a game breaker but certainly a bit annoying.

I would advice to uninstall Megascenery and PHNL, then install first M-H and FSDT PHNL.
There are certain file with M-H that causing those problems.
Be careful to use the proper uninstaller tool for both product, if you delete file by hand, you will get in trouble.

Ok, I'll give that a try.

Sorry, this post should be in the Honolulu FSX section, not here under Hawaiian Airports.

Tried uninstalling both, rebooting, reinstall MS, reboot, reinstall FSDTPHNL. Still missing some jetways.

If you disable Megascenery on library manager inside FSX did you see the jetways.
try also with megascenery enable to remove bunch of file by group from MSH scenery folder so maybe we can nail down this problem.
I use  Megascenery and I haven't any problem.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce on my system even with MSH afcad file active.

Is not that you install Megascenery with the wrong installer ?
In the Megascenery folder there is also the FS9 version.
FS9 had some trouble with files.

I will ask to Umberto to move this thread on Honolulu support FSX.
There is a same thread so you can join, try to check if you did install with thsi method:
