Hi guys,

I'm new on the forum but not to the FSXBA Hornet, which I really enjoy.

After having the Hornet running (various versions) in FSX for some time now, I've moved over to P3D v3.  Just wondering if the FSXBA Hornet will function correctly in P3D v3?  If so, could someone give me some basic pointers to get her up and running?  I do have a current version running in FSX if I need any files from there...

Or should I just wait for the new version?

Thanks for your time, and for the Hornet.  Your version one of my top 3 ac for flightsim.

As long as you use the installation program, I don't think there's anything you need, but I may be wrong. Just to be safe, I would copy the file FA-18.dll over from your FSX\Gauges folder to your P3D\Gauges folder.
I do know that to get vLSO working you need to copy the entire folder set Missions over, and if you want AICarriers.NET to work, you want to install it inside your P3D folder.

Other than all that...

Using the FSXBA Hornet and Javier's carriers, is there any online carrier landing practice with anyone here ?

I spawned a carrier a few times. Mostly kids were flying that night I guess and no one was on Team Speak either. I made a few landings and no one noticed the carrier and joined me.
If I fly online it is usually after midnight Arizona time due to my internet data usage. Data does not go against my allotted block.

Well, Azframer, I'm in Oregon, so I'm on the same time you are half the year :D
I lived in Az for almost 30 years. Hated every minute of it too. But I really did like not having Daylight Savings. I did have to adjust my TV schedule every 6 months. Gee, what a trial   ::)

Problem is, I never, ever, play online. It's a PTSD thing. I just don't get along well sometimes. My lovely wife can usually keep me under control, buuutt...

Sorry, just the way things are.

Dman,

Hopefully soon.  I was trying by best to get an updated version out soon with all of the avionics redone so that it can be compatible with P3D v4, but it looks like we've run into a few snags.  I'm working on pushing out an interim version for now until we get things ironed out with the rest of the project.

Thanks for the inquiry!
