Hi to all!
I love GSX! I really use it a lot!
Is possible in a future upgrade to have the passengers come in and out the aircraft ? For example during boarding and deboarding people came out from the airplane to go to the bus?

Thanks
Michele

This has been discussed countless of other times on the forum, and there's a specific (highlighted) note on the manual too. The short answer is that yes, we are obviously aware this is a much requested feature, and we are looking into it, but no promises.

+1 on the passenger request, even if it was just a few.

Umberto, if this animation feature is difficult to implement because it's resource heavy, can it be a feature for high end systems and video cards only? Perhaps make an on/off option for users?

I wouldn't have a clue about producing a program such as GSX, so correct me if I'm wrong. Wouldn't the passenger animation feature "resource heavy issue" be somewhat offset by the fact that the aircraft is idle on the ground?

The animations themselves are not so hard. What is tricky is creating a believable "crowd simulation" with avoidances methods, since FSX doesn't offer any support for this, so we would need to create everything from scratch.

Please, don't try to suggest easy escape routes or things that on paper might work, we already discussed, researched and did some tests about this and the result is: you either do it right, or it will look very bad, so we'll doing it right, but it will take time.

I think, an on/off switch wouldn't really destory the quality of a excellent product. I know, you guys from FSDT always want to make it as perfect as possible, but an on/off switch wouldn't affect the fineness at all!

Yes, of course, you didn't say that this might be the affecting part, but I had to mention it though.

We don't have any intention of wasting our time to create a crappy switchable on/off version, only to have redo it again in the future. We'll do it right the first time but, as I've said, it will take some time.

This forum is the unfriendliest forum I've ever seen! Umberto, is there any post that you've made yet, where you don't talk/write in a negative way to the costumers? Be happy that you've got so many of them and don't just always talk in such bad and silly ways!

It's O.K. that you say what you think, but look at your posts, they're really unfriendly.

And when someone asks about a thing that has been discussed already, then you always say the same. It might be a bit annoying sometimes that people ask the same over and over again but, let's face it, you earn money for that what you're doing here, so be more grateful by being friendlier.

You clearly misunderstood me, I wasn't unfriendly, or negative towards anyone.

It's the usual problem of the written text, that LOOKS more authoritative than the spoken word, even when there isn't the *slightest* intention, with the added aggravation that English is not my native language, and it's probably is not even yours so, better restrain to discuss about attitude and intentions, because they are easily misinterpreted.

This is the correct way to respond to a question that has already been discussed, because, as a SERVICE to that customer, he might be encouraged to use the Search function, because maybe more interesting informations might be found in the other threads. If I didn't said "this has been discussed already", how that user is supposed to KNOW it was discussed already, and search for it, especially if he's new on the forum ?

And in this case, the issue is even highlighted in the manual...
