Hello,

I'm using FSX and P3D together. I've just downloaded the new GSX installer. But I've got a problem when installing GSX with P3D.

This error appears at the end of the installation:

The installation of GSX 1.4 in FSX version works perfectly.

Thanks for your quick answer. But the file "vehicles_airport.bgl" exists in the P3D\scenery\global\scenery folder. But If GSX works correctly it's not a problem for me.

Patric

Edit: After a reinstallation of GSX I've got this problem in FSX, too. The file "vehicles_airport.bgl" wasn't renamed to "vehicles_airport.gsx". So I have to do it manually.

GSX 1.4 where is it? I could not find any advice for a new version. Or is above just a typo and should read 1.3 ?
I ran today Standalone Addon Manager 2.9.0.2 as suggested by the popup, but my version still reads 1.3

Hello Peter,

if you download and install the newest GSX version from the FSDreamTeam website you can see the version 1.4 in "Programs and Features" of the Win7 System Control Panel.

Hi Patric,

well, my version reads 1.3 in "Programs and Features" and I never saw any announcement of V 1.4. I guess that the actual downloadable full version of GSX contains all the recent little updates and they call it V 1.4
Anyway thanks for your advice but before I risk to mess up my installation I will wait for Umberto if he suggests to download the full version or if my installation with Standalone Addon Manager 2.9.0.2 is already the very last version and maybe it just does not change the version number in win7.

If you upgrade with Live Updates, you will never see the actual version number in the "Add/Remove Programs" section of the Control panel, because that will only tell which was the version of the last full installer you ran. To see 1.4 in that page, you need to use the full installer.

However, the difference will be just cosmetic, because the Addon Manager update will update GSX just the same.

We'll try to have the version number changing in the Add/Remove programs page too, because I understand it might cause some confusion.
