Small Error after Update **not an error**
« on: March 25, 2012, 09:51:57 am »
Hello,

sorry, but you have allways a little error in your pushback sequence.

After the Truck is connected and the Pin is installed the Pushback Man has to wait until he Captain contacts him and say "Ready for Push". After that the Pushback Man says "release Brakes please" !!

Also after the pushback is finished, the Pushback man says "Set Brakes please", the thea lift down the airplane and wait until the Captain says "All ok, remove Towing system, handsignal on the right/left hand site please .. bye". after that signal from the Captain the Pushback Man is allowed to disconnect all not before.

Thats for the case one engine is not running correct and the airplane mus go back into the Position for a check.

And one last thing...with left and right direction of the pushback it means normaly the nose. So it is always better to say what you mean, nose or tail left/right, not only left or rigth. always we have to say "Nose right/left" or "Tail right/left".
It will be better to have this ( nose or tail ) in the litle window where i have to select left or right direction of the pushback.

For the pushback direction, it is tail direction. This is explained fully in the manual.

No Header in the Answer .. ok.

Hello,

you are partially right.

But what about the wrong commands from the Pushbacker? ( means .. release brakes BEFORE the capain informs that he is ready for Push )

??

There aren't any "wrong" commands in the Pushback sequence. Since it's you that called GSX to start the Pushback, it can be assumed you are ready for it.

Since it's fully explained in the manual, and it's also the same naming standard the FSX pushback use (Shift+P then 1, which means Left, ends up with Tail Left and Nose right, exactly like GSX), we thought there wasn't any need to keep re-explaining it in the menu option too.
