Helloo

Looking fantastic so far.

Will there be an option to specify how many containers can be loaded on?

With the PMDG 747 for example, could you specify to load 8 in the front and 12  in the back as per the load manager? It would add more immersion.. specially if you have on the odd occasion a couple of the containers turning up late (to a degree anyway).

If you can specify how many containers, it would also look like you would need perhaps more than 1 trailer carrying all the containers to attend each cargo hold. Depending on the load out, you might have 1 trailer for the front, but 2 for the rear 1 trailer has say 6 containers and another has 3 or something. I don't know what the max length a train could be in this case but again, would definatly add into the immersion.

Cheers,

Tim

Same as for the baggage loaders, the number of containers will be reduced compared to the actual cargo capacity of the airplane, since a fully loaded 747 takes 32 LD1's and a 777 44, it would be quite boring wait all that time.

Albeit realistic though, we have to wait for the fuel truck why not the containers too. Smiley

Wow this is great news. I love the idea about the airplane editor! Looking forward to it.

And in regard to the reduced amount of bags/cargo... even if they are reduced, will a 747 see more cargo and bags than an A320?

Thanks

Umberto,

Yes I agree that it watching bags being loaded would be boring if its for a long time if there are alot of them, but in my case, I usually spend around 40 to 50 minutes setting up the aircraft so it would be going on in the background for me on which hopefully by the time I finish set-up they should have finished loading.

Its an idea and if there is an option that would allow this extended time frame as well as the condensed version then that would be great too. To have it at all is fine. A similar thing perhaps could even be done relating to the catering, increasing their time as they actually replace the amount of catering trollies an aircraft stores.

Cheers,

Tim

The container number will be reduced, just like the number of baggage is (we surely don't load hundreds of them...), but the ratio of reduction will be lower than the baggage.

I was not to sure on this add-on when first released.  I used a few time with my FSDT scenery and was hooked.  I have the full version now and cant wait for this update for container loader.

Keep up the great work FSDT.  Really looking forward to your CYVR scenery

Shouldn't take long, the update is basically done, but we are working on the updated manual and the installer. It has been a really large update.

When it's ready, not before. Some users have reported additional problems, and we want to fix all the known ones.

Your other identical post has been removed, because cross-posting the same message twice on two boards, will only increase our support workload, with no better chances to get the update out any faster.

When it's ready, we'll know and you'll know too. There's no risk you'll miss it, since it will come as a Live Update, so you'll be notified automatically. If I had a precise idea of a date, I wouldn't replied "when it's ready", in the previous message.
