Anti-aliasing
« on: February 22, 2012, 01:38:43 am »
Hi, recently i've been having a huge framerate problem with KLAX. I was getting max 12 FPS which is terrible for my computer. Then I tried disabling Anti-aliasing in the graphics and it went up to around 26 FPS (although still not very stable). The problem is that without Anti-aliasing turned on, the graphics start flashing around like crazy and it looks terrible. I know its a little bit like that with default airports but with KLAX the graphics look horrible. Any idea whats going on?

Thank you

KLAX is more video-card dependent than other sceneries, and requires your video drivers are working correctly and the card is correctly setup, antialiasing is something that might lead to problems if the video drivers has bugs.

You might want to try *different* antialiasing modes, they don't all affect fps the same, you really have to try.

Thanks, I tried disabling anti-aliasing in-game and enabling it in the video card settings. That seemed to improve frame rates and graphics.
