Trying to narrow the issue with the gates
« on: February 11, 2012, 04:28:28 pm »
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with KJFK or GSX, but I thought I post this issue here and see if any of the FSDT moderators can help with a possible solution.

First of all let me tell you what programs I have, which all have the capability to help move the gates; GSX, FS2Crew, and Ultimate Traffic II. The funny thing is that all these programs work fine at KLAS when I tried it, but at KJFK with both are from FSDT, does not. At KJFK when it comes time to activate the gate to move it against the door, it just shakes but does not move.  Any ideas why this is happening?

GSX doesn't try to move the jetways on its own, so it must be some other product you are using.

Jetway behavior is entirely unaffected by GSX, the only relationship (*read* only!) between GSX and jetways, is that GSX reads the AFCAD to know if there's a jetway, in order not to call all stairs, but that's the end of all interaction between GSX and jetways.

I've noticed this happens when you are too far forward in the parking space... as the jetway doesn't shrink in any further than its unused position. try staying back a little bit further.
